This was the first book I wrote following my discovery of the inner quality, or character of my soul. Part one of the book explains how that discovery took place and also presents in a flow of consciousness style many of my first impressions on the origin and implications of the inner quality. The second and longer part of the book is an informal conversation between three friends representing different levels of intellectual and spiritual maturity. The subjects of their conversations are wide ranging from the mundane to the metaphysical. However, always in the background is the evolution of my thought in terms of what it means to try to become one’s true self and to express in daily life the character of one’s soul.
Subjects discussed in this book include the discovery and meaning of the inner quality, idealism in people and government, building and sustaining spiritual communities, becoming the real self, pursuing the goal of integration, understanding the brotherhood and sisterhood of light, and defining oneself as a son or daughter of God.
