For thousands of years, the ideal of the “true self” has symbolized the search for one’s real identity and the expression of one’s full potential as a human being. The quest for the true self has led individuals along many different paths, some rational, some inspirational, some disciplined, some spontaneous. Those who have completed their journeys have often found themselves at the same point in consciousness — a heightened sense of selfhood frequently described as oneness with other parts of life, nature, and God.
The purpose of this website is to explore the human potential by way of identifying and expressing one’s inner quality, or character of the soul. The inner quality is the spark of our individuality; it makes us unique and gives us special value. Knowing and expressing our inner quality is one way to integrate ourselves materially and spiritually, to balance and align ourselves with the flow of God’s will in life and in nature.
Over the years, I have written about the discovery of my inner quality and how that discovery has expanded my understanding of the potential of mankind. Some of those books are available on this website through pdf download on the site’s web pages The documents include: “The Inner Quality: Exploring the Human Potential,” “Ethics of the Inner Quality,” “The Inner Quality Philosophy of Governance,” “An Inner Quality Analysis of Machiavellian Politics,” “Reflections on the Inner Quality,” and “Inner Quality Statesmanship.”
Topics discussed in these books include the relationship between God, man, and soul; social, political, and spiritual implications of the inner quality; how the inner quality can be used to develop one’s personal ethical and moral standards; inner quality theories of governance; and how the inner quality is one key to the realization of mankind’s greatest potential both materially and spiritually.
A separate book on “Consciousness” explores the many roles consciousness plays in the affairs of man, while still remaining a profound mystery. In addition to reviewing and analyzing the various ancient and modern theories and models of consciousness, the book shows how consciousness can be used to strengthen the communion between God, man, and other parts of life.
The section on “Commentaries” is my attempt to apply the inner quality to specific issues of contemporary concern to society.
